Classes Offered in 2012 Season OUTER BANKS ART ADVENTURES Capture those special vacation memories with a piece of art that you create yourself! Let artists Lori Wilson and Kay Goldsby lead you in an Outer Banks Art Adventure presented by Seaworthy Gallery in Hatteras, N.C. Learn to paint on Yupo paper using acrylic paints, paint a dazzling OBX sunset, or design and create a fabulous piece of jewelry reminiscent of your seaside vacation! Pick one or all of the following adventures: YUPO PAINTING - $35 Tuesday, July 31st..... 10:00-12:00 Wednesday, August 1st..... 1:00-3:00 Thursday, August 2nd....10:00-12:00 Paint an underwater scene on Yupo paper which is a synthetic paper that allows the paint to stay loose, fluid and translucent. You’ll be amazed at how easy it is to create your own undersea masterpiece! JEWELRY MAKING - Kids $25 Adults $35 Tuesday, July 31st.... 1:00-3:00 Wednesday, August 1st....10:00-12:00 Learn the basics of beading including very easy wire wrapping techniques, bead stringing and crimping. If you have a special seashell or beach glass you would like to incorporate into your piece bring it with you. We also have one of our most popular potters coming to the gallery next week. His name is Mark Koepnick. He will be demonstrating the fine art of pottery making on our front porch Tues, Wed, and Thursday at 10, 12 & 2:00. Registration is requested, class size is small.
